Beswicks Art Prize for Two Daisies
Daisy Black and Daisy Rowlinson, both 17, from Newcastle School, were awarded prizes from Beswicks Solicitors for their paintings which had been on display in Alexander House over the last twelve months.
For the second year, Beswicks Solicitors have hosted an exhibition of art from students at Newcastle School in Alexander House, their offices opposite the Museum and Art Gallery in Hanley.
“As we are located in the Cultural Quarter, this is a great way of supporting local artists and it helps to create a pleasant cultural environment for our staff and clients visiting our offices”, explains Managing Partner, Simon Woodings.
This year the prizewinners were Daisy Black winning First Prize of a laptop computer and the runner up was Daisy Rowlinson who wins a new ipod.
