A Will for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust

Making a will and keeping it up to date is vital if we care about the future of our loved ones.  It is natural to want to provide for our families and special provisions can also be made for friends, other relatives and favourite causes.

Anyone over 18 years of age should make a will as soon as they can.  This should then be checked regularly – perhaps every five years, or if your circumstances change.

It is advisable to seek professional advice for such an important document.  If it does not conform to certain legal formalities you could find that your will is invalid.

National Will for Wildlife Week (October 19-25) acts as a regular reminder and Beswicks Solicitors is pleased to support Staffordshire Wildlife Trust this year by offering a 10% discount to wildlife supporters wishing to make a will during Will for Wildlife Week.

The last five years have seen Staffordshire Wildlife Trust receive almost £150,000 in direct income from legacies, and this has enabled them to complete some important projects, including repaying the loan that was taken out to purchase Thorswood Nature Reserve (pictured below).  The Trust is currently raising money for several nature conservation projects across the county.
