Beswicks Advises Hanley Economic on New HQ

The Hanley Economic Building Society is to move to new headquarters, which will be built by Stoke-on-Trent Regeneration, the joint venture between St Modwen Properties and Stoke City Council.

The Hanley was advised by the Beswicks commercial property team with partner Tim Bailey handling the property acquisition and partner Hayley Kennedy  advising on the construction contracts.

The 7,850 sq ft self-contained two-storey office, will comprise part of the first development in the fourth phase of Festival Park.

David Webster, Chief Executive of the Hanley Economic Building Society comments,  "This is an extremely important move for The Hanley and evidences our optimism for the future.  Clearly we wanted to have the very best advice, guidance and legal expertise so we were delighted to have the support of Beswicks on such a key transaction.   The professionalism and speed of service from the commercial team at Beswicks was hugely  impressive and we would be happy to engage them in any future deals.   It is also very pleasing to use a local law firm rather than seek legal representation from outside our area."
