Wills and probate
It is all too easy to keep putting off thinking about when we will die or what might happen if we get so ill that we cannot communicate our wishes. However, if we fail to plan and make a written will, there is the danger that our wishes will not be carried out. It is possible that loved ones might not be provided for in the way that we desire and it is also likely that HM Revenue & Customs will benefit more than we would wish.
Wills should be updated whenever your circumstances change significantly, if you get married, or enter a civil partnership, if you move house or if there are substantial changes to your business circumstances. You may also wish to consider setting down your wishes in the event that you become seriously ill.
The Beswicks wills and probate team is experienced in all aspects of estate planning and management and can help you to ensure that your life’s work is passed on in the way that you wish.
