Practice areas 

Sarah is a solicitor in the wills and probate division of Beswicks’ private client department.

Sarah specialises in the preparation of wills including mirror wills, life interest wills and nil rate band discretionary trust wills. In particular, she advises clients on the impact of inheritance tax and how this can be reduced or even avoided with careful planning through the use of a will.

With experience in dealing with estate administration, for both taxable and non taxable estates, she advises executors and beneficiaries on a wide range of practical administration and taxation issues.

Sarah also has experience in dealing with estates including Spanish property and is able to advise on inheritance planning and inheritance tax in Spain.

Sarah prepares and looks after people’s affairs under enduring powers of attorney and also undertakes Court of Protection work, having been appointed by the Court as a Reciever to manage the financial affairs of those who are unable to do so themselves.
