Rob joined Beswicks in 2005 and undertakes all aspects of criminal defence work. He has extensive experience of police station representation and is also an advocate in the Magistrates Courts.
His specialism is prison law where he has widespread knowledge of prison rules and regulations. This is an area which is often misunderstood by other criminal solicitors. Rob deals with all prisoner issues including recalls and parole hearings.
Rob has experience of representing inmates at adjudication hearings and undertaking judicial review action against prison authorities.
Rob is also responsible for complaints against the police and has successfully undertaken civil action on behalf of clients who have been unlawfully arrested and detained.
