Beswicks Legal’s commercial property team is in training for a Peak District hiking challenge, which aims to raise vital funds for Cancer Research.

As part of the charity’s Peak District Big Hike Laura Pyatt, Jake Vernon, Emma Barnes, Sayoni Blake and Sam Cartwright will be walking a half marathon, or 13.1mile, circular route from Bakewell via Rowsley, Beeley and Chatsworth House on 8 June.

As they traverse the Peak District’s stunning landscape, the team will climb to 1,302 feet and take in woodlands, waterfalls and limestone cliffs.

Commercial Property Senior Associate Laura Pyatt said: “Cancer Research is a fantastic charity whose work touches so many people. We wanted to do something as a team to help raise money for their important research.

“It’s going to be a very challenging hike but we’re doing as many training walks as possible at the weekends and are very much looking forward to taking on the Peak District Big Hike.”
