It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of former Beswicks Legal partner John Meakin.

John was a talented lawyer, a respected colleague, a much-loved friend and, of course, an avid Stoke City fan.

Senior Partner Gary Mellor commented: “Anyone who knew John will never forget him. I am personally grateful to him for mentoring me when I started my career in law. John will forever be part of the Beswicks’ family and will be greatly missed.”

Our deepest condolences go to John’s wife, daughters, granddaughters and great-grandson.
