Can the debtor offer to pay the debt by instalments? Debt Recovery

Yes, a debtor can offer to pay a debt by instalments. This is done by the debtor returning the prescribed form to the court detailing his income and expenditure. You don’t have to accept the offer of instalments, however, the court might take the view that, after taking all facts into account, the offer is reasonable.
