How much is the national minimum wage? Employment Law

On 1 April 2019, the national living and minimum wage increased to £8.21/hour for people aged 25 years and older. Twenty-one to 24-year-olds receive £7.70/hour, 18 to 20-year-olds £6.16/hour, 16 and 17-year-olds £4.35/hour and for people under 19 years of age who are in the first year of an apprenticeship, the minimum wage is £3.90/hour.
