Will GDPR still apply after Brexit? Brexit

Yes, GDPR was incorporated into UK law by the introduction of the Data Protection Act 2018. However, unless (and until) the European Commission decides that the UK provides an adequate level of protection for personal data, it is likely that additional measures will have to be taken before personal data can lawfully be transferred from the EU to the UK.

This might include the adoption of standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules.
