I am an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer, having qualified as a solicitor in 1994.

Prior to joining Beswicks in July 2026, I held senior positions in both industry and private practice in a career spanning over 30 years.

I specialise in disposals, acquisitions, management buyouts and complex group reorganisations spanning a range of business sectors.

Throughout my career I have enjoyed working closely with clients to achieve their goals, leading on substantial transactions.

  • Advised Swiss family company on £6.5m acquisition of UK publishing company.
  • Advised management team on £48m sale of underwriting broker to Swiss listed entity.
  • Advised on $60m disposal of chemicals business with operations in the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East and Asia.
  • Advised management team on fundraising and £1m acquisition of technology start-up from Telefonica incubator.
  • Advised private equity house on £36m secondary MBO.
  • Advised internal stakeholders on £40m joint venture between Thomas Cook Ltd and Co-operative Travel Ltd.
  • Advised trading boards for food retail, pharmacy, funeralcare, farming and specialist businesses on standard suite of acquisition and disposal documentation, framework supplier agreements, confidentiality and exclusivity agreements, agency and distribution arrangements, data protection and IT arrangements, consultancy services and TUPE issues.
  • Advised on purchasing franchise operations and database rights of travel operators within the UK.
