Lee Yates Private Wealth Team Manager

I started working at Beswicks Legal in 1998 as an accredited police station representative before qualifying as a solicitor in 2000.

I was a duty solicitor with extensive experience as an advocate in the magistrates’ courts. I specialised in cases in the youth court, which had a different procedural and sentencing regime to adult courts. I also specialised in defending anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) applications.

I had a caseload involving many serious offences and represented clients in connection with allegations of murder, manslaughter, sexual assault, public disorder and numerous road traffic offences.

In March 2019, I joined the Private Wealth team.
