Completion of the sale of Staffordshire-based veterinary practice, Shires Vets, to the Sovereign capital-backed Linnaeus Group, marked the closure of the first quarter of 2017 for the Beswicks’ corporate team.
The sale created a partnership between an established Staffordshire veterinary practice and a network of specialist referral veterinary practices, creating growth opportunities for both businesses.
This was just one of a number of transactions completed during the first three months of the year, with a total value of over £18million across a variety of sectors, building on the success of 2016 during which our growing team completed deals with an aggregate value in excess of £112million.
Whether we’re advising on relatively small deals or the more substantial transactions, corporate reorganisations and restructures, shareholder matters or commercial agreements, the diverse range of businesses that we work with means every transaction is completely different.
Complexity is not always a function of the headline value and common to all is the challenge of supporting clients in what may well be their first deal or the deal of a lifetime. Our role is to provide clients with the peace of mind that an experienced, committed team of professionals is supporting them every step of the way as they make crucial decisions about their businesses.
